This policy explains what the Pelican City Whitelist bot collects and how it is used. We collect the minimum needed and do not sell data or use it for advertising.
Discord user ID and username (to identify you and manage whitelist/roles); server ID and your roles (to apply permissions); whitelist application answers you submit (to review applications); in-game character identifier/citizenid (to link your Discord to your character); moderation records such as warnings and bans (to enforce rules). We do not collect message content beyond what you submit to the bot, and we do not access your DMs.
Solely to operate whitelisting, roles, account linking, rule enforcement and support.
Stored on the infrastructure hosting the Pelican City server and database; retained while your account is associated with the community and removed/anonymised on request or when no longer needed, except where needed to enforce bans or comply with law.
We do not sell or rent data; only Pelican City staff who need it, and Discord as part of normal bot operation, can access it.
Request access, correction or deletion via staff tickets in the official Discord; leaving the community stops further collection; some records (e.g. bans) may be retained for safety.
18+ community, not directed to minors.
Reasonable measures taken, but no system is fully secure.
